The Journey

Step by step roadmap to build a thriving music business!

Master the musicpreneur method and build a profitable music business that aligns with your unique gifts and vision, without overworking and losing yourself in the process.

Does this sound familiar?

Your passion for music is undeniable!

There’s nothing you enjoy more than making, playing and/or performing music and you’ve been pursuing your dream of a successful career in music with a lot of drive and enthusiasm.

But while you love what you do, it’s hard to stay motivated sometimes.

There’s so much involved with building a music career!

You often feel unsure of the steps you need to take to make the career you envision a reality.

In a highly saturated music industry it sometimes feels like you have to sacrifice your creative integrity and who you are in order to compete.

You do your best to gain exposure on social media and build a following. But promoting yourself makes you uncomfortable, you lack ideas on what to post and often feel discouraged by the thought that you need millions of fans and viral social media content.

You know that eventually you’re going to have to make (more) money with your music. But you’re not sure how. And to be really honest, charging for your work or negotiating deals makes you super uncomfortable.

You’re putting in all this work, but somehow just can’t seem to take your music career to the next level.

While you don’t want to admit it, you’re slowly starting to feel disappointed and disillusioned.

And you begin to worry.

If something doesn’t change sooner or later, I may be forced to give up on my dream career…

If you can relate to the above in any way, please know you are not the only one!

Unfortunately a lot of artists and musicians struggle to build a sustainable music career.

They find it hard to gain exposure and come up with a realistic action plan to make their music career goals a reality.

What is the best way to grow my fanbase? How will I ever be heard with so many artists trying to make it? How do I monetize my music? How do I land more projects and bookings and attract more clients?

And artists who have managed to build a career for themselves often get stuck at a certain income level.

But it doesn’t have to be like this!

Having been a professional vocalist and songwriter myself for the past 18 years, I definitely experienced my fair share of struggles as well!

But instead of throwing in the towel, it made me determined to study the ‘rules’ of the modern music industry.

I soon realized I had to change the way I thought about myself, my music and the music industry as a whole.

I discovered that there ís actually a process to building a successful music career.

Without the need of millions of fans, having to be discovered by a label or management, or sacrificing your creative integrity.

3

Imagine this being your new reality a year from now:

R
You are working towards your music career goals with clarity and intention
R
You have a strong brand and are building a loyal fanbase of die hard fans ready to support you in every way
R
You show up on social media in a way that feels authentic to you
R
You no longer feel lost at which steps are required to achieve your goals
R
You are monetising your music in multiple ways
R
You believe in your worth and feel confident charging for it accordingly
R
Attracting new projects, gigs and/or clients has become much easier
R
You own your success and are no longer at the mercy of third parties such as labels, management or traditional press
R
You feel confident about your career and future in music
R
You’ve made connections with like minded artists and industry professionals
R
Your career aligns with who you are and the life you want to live
R
You wake up every morning feeling excited to work on your music business

Do you think this sounds too good to be true?

If so, you may be buying into one of the following music industry myths:

Myth #1- The starving artist myth

The starving artist myth refers to the idea that art is more meaningful when the artist is struggling.

As a result of this myth – which is perpetuated a lot in movies and books – a lot of artists feel uncomfortable charging for their work and are allergic to words such as ‘marketing’ and ‘profit’. They fear being perceived as commercial, or ‘in it for the money’.

But making meaningful, genuine music and making a proper living from music are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary! When you are compensated properly for your work, you will be able to give even more to your fans and clients.

Your work matters!

And you deserve to be compensated for it fairly.

Myth #2 – You need commercial success and millions of fans to make a living

No one will deny that having commercial success and millions of fans certainly helps! But it doesn’t mean it’s the only way!

All you really need is to attract enough fans/clients who resonate with you and your music/services so much that they will gladly pay to listen to your music, buy your merchandise, book classes with you etc.

And because of the internet marketing yourself and building such a loyal fan- or clientbase is now at every artist’s disposal.

With the right tools and strategies you will be able to make a living as a musician even without commercial success and millions of fans!

Myth #3- You need to be discovered by a label or management

In the old music industry, before we had the internet and social media, this was definitely true.

However, in this day and age artists no longer have to depend on third parties to launch their careers or make them successful.

Because of the internet the world lies at our feet! How amazing is it that you no longer have to hope for the off chance that someone will discover you?

And even if the independent artist route isn’t what you want, building your online presence and fanbase on your own can actually help you get signed.

Don’t underestimate the empowered position artists have in the new music industry!

In the new music industry the power lies with YOU!

And the key to succeeding in the new music industry is:

Building a fanbase or clientbase of super fans within your niche

Offering products and/or services besides just streams/digital downloads for them to consume & buy

Becoming an expert marketer for your music, services and related products

Knowing how to sell

In other words: building a sustainable, profitable music career requires you to build it like a musicpreneur!

Did the above resonate with you in any way?

If the answer is ‘YES’, I would love to invite you to:

MERYLL (Songwriter, EDM vocalist) [Netherlands]

The musicpreneur method puts YOU in control of your own destiny, so that you can turn your passion into a paycheque, make a difference in the life of others, experience the freedom to do what you love, and support yourself and your loved ones.

As an artist and musician the business world seemed very scary and unaccessible for me.

I was always hoping to magically get someone to just throw money at me just because I make art.

Susana helped me a lot with opening up to the business world.

Understanding how much it can give me, finding my way in it. Showing me how an artist can stay in the whole ‘I’m doing my own thing’ energy even more when having a business.

Julia Tehada (Singer, songwriter) [Netherlands]

This course is great for new artists starting out or those who have been at it for a while but getting nowhere.

It forces you to change your perspective on how to engage your audience and how to market to them without being a sales manager.

David Hunt (DJ, Producer)

The Journey also comes with:

Lifetime access

Building a business takes time! So you will keep lifetime access to all the course materials, including any future updates to the course!

This way you’ll be able to take it at your own pace, refer back to certain topics when you need a refresher and stay up to date with the latest developments!

BCFA Student Community

You don’t have to go it alone! Having a network and support system is one of the keys to a successful music business.

This is why I created the BCFA Student Community on Facebook. When you sign up for The Journey you will be invited to join the group.

This is where you can ask any questions you may have about the course materials and receive feedback from me.

The goal of this group is to provide a safe place for you and fellow students to exchange experiences and lift each other up.

12 Live group coach calls

Don’t worry about getting stuck along the way!

Every month we have a live group coach call on Zoom.

You will get access to no less than 12 of those calls! That means at least 12 hours of additional coaching from me, where you can ask questions, brainstorm, discuss strategies and get advice when you feel stuck or unsure what to do in a situation.

During these coaching calls you also have the opportunity to connect and network with the other artists in the program.

Can’t make it to one or more of the sessions? No problem! You will be able to submit your questions beforehand, which I will then cover on the call. The call will be recorded so you can watch it at your convenience.

I very much enjoyed our regular coaching calls, as well as being part of an amazing community of like-minded artists.
Cristina (vocalist & topline writer).

We exchanged our experiences and supported each other. The group melted together and also after the course we are directing lights for each other.

Martha Zan (Singer/songwriter/Ukulele artist) [Germany]

But that’s not all!

Check out our 5 amazing bonuses below!

Bonus #1

Spotify For Artists Mini Course

In this mini course you will learn;

  • How to get your music on Spotify
  • What you have to do to get access to Spotify For Artists and be able to manage your own artist profile.
  • How to pimp your profile to gain followers and boost streams.
  • How to leverage the Spotify algorithm to grow your following and streams.
  • Why playlists are so important and how to get your music playlisted without having to pay for it

Bonus #2

Grow Your Engaged Email List (Mini Course)

Did you know an engaged mailing list is one of the most valuable assets your music business can have? Here’s why:

  • Whereas only a % of your followers on social media will see a post, your email list gives you a direct way to communicate with your fans/potential clients!
  • You own your mailing list. If for some reason you lose access to your social media accounts – you get hacked or the platform ceases to exist – you also lose your fans. Unless you have them on your mailing list!
  • It’s a great tool to help you build trust and relationships with your fans and (potential) clients.
  • It’s a great tool to  sell on autopilot.

With this bonus course you will;

  • Learn how to grow your mailing list using the email marketing software Mailchimp in combination with a free download.
  • Learn how to advertise with this free download on Facebook and Instagram and gain subscribers at full speed.
  • Receive tips on how to write authentic and ‘non-salesy’ email marketing campaigns that will allow your subscribers to become die hard super fans.
Starting an e-mail-list with a freebie was a really good advice.
My free download of an ukulele mini book for beginners attracted over 150 people in a few months for my newsletter.
Writing the monthly newsletter helps me to reflect and plan all my activities; and I am sure that the people who read it are really interested in my work and music.
Martha Zan (Singer, songwriter, Ukulele artist) [Germany]

Bonus #3

Magnetic Merch (Mini Course)

Learn how to design and sell your own artist merchandise with little to no upfront investment!

I will share with you the exact tools and strategies I have used to launch my own Trance merch shop The Susana Shop and generate 8k in annual merch sales.

For me the value of the program is the combination of the step by step plan offered in The Journey and the mental support offered by Susana in the coaching sessions.

LeOneSiverss (DJ, Producer) [Netherlands]

I struggled with many doubts, with thoughts like “I will never earn enough money for making a living of it” or “there are so many more talented musicians than me”, I struggled with the usage of social media, I had no plan.

And Susana did not just show me my plan, she showed me, how I can make my own plan. How I can find my best way that fits to my goals.

Thank you so much Susana! You are the best guide I could find.

Martha Zan (Singer, songwriter, Ukulele artist) [Germany]

I first met Susana looking for information regarding how to approach and work with vocalists in my genre (Trance).

I’ve since had a track picked up by a major genre label and have been able to get doors opened that I likely would never have known how to open on my own.

Further, she’s taught me techniques and given me practical knowledge that has set the stage for more growth and success on my path.

Meet your coach 🙂

Hi I am Sanne (artist name Susana)!

I am a singer, topline writer and performer with over 18 years experience in the music industry as one of the top vocalists in the Trance music niche.

I currently live in the Netherlands with my boyfriend. I love pizza, hiking and true crime. And I am passionate about music (duh!), self-development and entrepreneurship.

As a female and a singer in the male DJ dominated Dance Music Industry, the odds of me building a successful career weren’t necessarily in my favor.

Nonetheless I have been able to build a sustainable career in music!

I often collaborate with DJs and producers from around the world, including some of Dance music’s elite such as Armin van Buuren and Dash Berlin.

I regularly get to perform on national and international stages (something I have dreamt of since I was a little girl) including Tomorrowland (Belgium), Untold Festival (Romania) and Godskitchen (Australia).

In recent years I have been releasing more solo materials as well, launched my own independent label Susa Records and opened my own online merch store The Susana Shop (with 8k in yearly sales).

One of the most memorable moments in my career was when I celebrated my 15th anniversary as a Trance vocalist with an acoustic concert, Susana15, in 2019.

I had no idea what to expect, but eventually more than 350 people attended, including some of my most loyal fans who traveled all the way from countries such as Japan, Canada and Portugal!

So what’s my “secret”?

Looking back what has made the biggest difference for me was the moment I realized I had to approach and build my career like a business!

I’ll be honest though.

By nature I am totally not a business minded person.

I am also a recovering people pleaser, overthinker and perfectionist. Oh, and an introvert as well! And anything money related used to make me extremely uncomfortable.

Not really the typical traits of a successful business owner!

But that’s the thing. Entrepreneurship is something you can learn! Including you!

I truly believe it’s one of the most powerful opportunities us artists have to change the course of our careers and our lives.

And because I believe in this wholeheartedly I decided to launch Business Coaching For Artists (BCFA) in 2019.

With BCFA it is my mission to teach ambitious and talented artists like you to build their own successful, sustainable music business.

A music business that aligns with who you are and your unique gifts and vision. Without overworking yourself in the process!

MERYLL (Songwriter, Vocalist, Vocal Producer) [Netherlands]

Still having some doubts about joining the program?

This course is for:

  • Performing and/or recording artists and musicians, songwriters, topline writers, producers, mixing & mastering engineers, music coaches, ghost producers, vocalists, composers, sound healers etc.
  • Artists & musicians who (intend to) release and sell music and music related products to their fans.
  • Artists & musicians who (intend to) sell their musical skills and services to clients and fellow artists (songwriters, mixing & mastering engineers, session musicians, coaches, composers etc).
  • Independent artists and/or artists signed to a label.

Furthermore this course is for you if:

  • You are looking for a step by step process to take the guesswork out of building a sustainable, profitable music career
  • You are looking for a support system of like minded artists
  • You want to build a career that aligns with who you are and the life you want to live
  • You are willing to keep an open mind
  • You have a positive, constructive attitude
  • You understand that building a long lasting music career won’t happen overnight
  • You want to start earning money with your music while you build your career

This course is not for you if:

  • You don’t intend to release music or monetise your musical skills and services
  • You’re not willing to take responsibility for your success
  • You prefer to rely on others to make your career happen for you
  • You are looking for a quick fix
  • You have a negative attitude
  • You aren’t willing to let go of the old music business mentality
  • You tend to blame others when things don’t work out as you hoped

My reason to join The Journey was feeling insecure about my capabilities of becoming an artist. Luckily I joined the group, because since then I mostly completely got rid of my fears and doubts for becoming an artist.

What helped me with my struggle? The fellow students and Susana who gave me hope and strength to focus on myself, being who I am, and to know how to become a valuable artist within the business.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if The Journey is right for me?

This course is suitable for performing and/or recording artists and musicians, songwriters, topline writers, producers, mixing & mastering engineers, music coaches, ghost producers, vocalists, composers, sound healers etc.

Are you at the start of your music career journey? In my experience it’s never too early to start learning what it takes to become successful in the new music industry. I for one wish I’d known everything I know now a lot earlier in my career.

The Journey can also help you figure out what you want to do in music and what the first steps to achieving this could be.

Please feel free to send me an email at info@businesscoachingforartists.com and I’ll be more than happy to help you determine if The Journey is the right program for you at this time.

For me as a rookie in the social media ‘business’ side, I was happy afterwards that not a single topic was too hard.

Susana explains in easy words the theory about, for example, how to build your fanbase, the do’s and don’ts and facebook algorithms.

On top of that there are cheatsheers and worksheets available for use to make the process even easier.

Well worth the investment, imo!

Rob Binner (DJ, Producer) [Netherlands]

Will it work for my genre?

Definitely! What we teach in The Journey can be applied to all musical genres. No matter how big or small.

Whether you make pop, rap, indie, electronic or any other genre of music, the key to a successful music career is finding your unique voice, brand and message and understanding who your ideal fans (or clients) are and how to leverage the internet to reach those fans/potential clients and turn them into loyal ambassadors and paying customers.

Which you will learn how to do on The Journey.

What is included in the program?

Lifetime access to the video course (incl. future updates) consisting of 8 modules teaching you how to build a profitable music business that fits who you are, without overworking and losing yourself in the process.

Lifetime access to the exclusive members only BCFA Student Group on Facebook.

What makes ‘The Journey’ different from other music business courses?

1) A lot of courses for artists focus on just one element of building a music career: how to grow on Instagram, getting more streams on Spotify, how to build a mailing list etc. ‘The Journey’ however is a comprehensive program that covers the full spectrum! It connects all the dots and teaches you how to build an actual music business! Social media trends and platforms come and go, pandemics and other crises happen, but with the entrepreneurship skills you learn in The Journey you will be able to adapt to those changes. I will help you see which business opportunities there are in music and help you pick the opportunities that align with who you are! It helps you understand the bigger picture of all the facets of a music business: marketing, branding, social media, fanbase building, selling, business models, finances, positioning etc. While still remaining true to yourself!

2) Most courses for artists are designed mainly for recording/performing artists. Besides being for recording/performing artists The Journey is also for artists and musicians who have (or aspire to have) a more service based music career behind the scenes. Such as songwriters, session musicians, mixing & mastering engineers, coaches etc..

3) There are plenty of free resources and courses for artists that are cheaper, but these are often quite surface level and – as explained – often only cover one aspect of building a music career. Whereas The Journey is a comprehensive, in depth musicpreneur course that is continuously being updated and comes with lifetime access, a community of fellow artists and live coaching calls.

4) Last but not least I don’t believe in cookie cutter formulas. We are not all the same and we don’t all have the same ambitions and dreams. Therefore I am not the type of coach that tells you ‘you have to do this or that’. Instead I will show you what’s possible, help you see which business opportunities there are in music, give you a system that works and help you choose the path that works for you! 🙂

What I appreciate about Susana is that she’s real. She has walked the walk herself. Not only does she offer a step by step plan to help take the guesswork out of growing your music career, she is also very open about the ups and downs of her own journey, which I have found to be very helpful.

Especially her philosophy of building a music career that fits who you are, without burning yourself out, speaks to me.

The process of building a music career can get overwhelming and make me feel insecure at times, but Susana’s mental support helps me to find balance and keep it sustainable.

Le One Siverss (DJ, Producer) [Netherlands]

What is the time investment for the course?

That depends.

Each of the 7 main modules contains on average 2-3 hours of course materials. However, how much time you dedicate to it weekly is totally up to you.

It also depends on which of the bonus materials are relevant for you. Not all bonuses may be relevant for each student’s goals or business model.

Either way you have lifetime access to the course materials so you can take it at your own pace. Some students go through the program in a couple weeks and then work on implementing what they’ve learned. Others take it step by step and may take months to go through all the content.

When does the program start and until when will I keep access?

Upon completing your registration you’ll get immediate access to the course materials in the online academy.

You have lifetime access to all course materials in the online academy and the exclusive members only BCFA Student Group on Facebook.

Can I take the course at a later date?

I can’t see into your schedule of course. But you may want to ask yourself: at this moment in time, which step that I can take right now has the most potential of making a difference in my career?

And remember: you will have lifetime access to all course contents and future updates as well as the BCFA Student Group on Facebook and the replays of the group coach calls.

So even if you are busy the next few months, you’ll have enough time to finish all the lessons.

Last but not least it will be good to know that ‘The Journey’ may not be available anymore for the same price in the future.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?

If for some reason the program doesn’t meet your expectations we offer a 14 day money back guarantee from the date of purchase.

Just send us an email to info@businesscoachingforartists.com before the 14 day term expires and we will reimburse the full amount. No questions asked!

What are the available payment methods?

  • If you pay all at once the payment options are: credit card, iDeal, Bancontact, Paypal and Giropay.
  • If you choose the payment plan, the payment options are: credit card, iDeal, Bancontact, and Giropay (no Paypal).

How do the live group coach calls work?

Every month we have a live group coach call on Zoom.

You will get access to no less than 12 of those calls! That means at least 12 hours of additional coaching from me, where you can ask questions, brainstorm, discuss strategies and get advice when you feel stuck or unsure what to do in a situation.

During these coaching calls you also have the opportunity to connect and network with the other artists in the program.

Don’t worry if you can’t make it: you will be able to submit your questions beforehand, which I will then cover on the call. The call will be recorded so you can watch it at your convenience.

Susana deeply cares about your concern and makes you feel valued.

Lea (Songwriter, Vocalist, Producer) [Germany, Netherlands]

What if I can’t make it to some or all of the live coach calls?

Generally speaking the group coach calls take place the first Tuesday evening of the month (the schedule may be subject to change, which will then be communicated in advance).

If you can’t make it you will be able to submit your questions beforehand and you will be sent the recorded replay.

What if I feel like I’m not ready yet?

Personally I believe there is no time like the present. In order to build your dream music business you have to be willing to make your music career an absolute priority in your life.

The course comes with lifetime access to all course materials in the online academy (including future updates to the program) as well as the BCFA Student Community on Facebook. This way you’ll be able to take the course at your own pace and come back to certain topics in the future if at any point you need a refresher.

“To have something you never had, you’ll have to do things you’ve never done.” Whether that means joining The Journey at this time, or something else, that is for you to decide. But if you do decide to join, you will be received with open arms 🙂

I was unsure about so many things and was unable to make the decisions I needed to make, but Susana led me on the right path.

Her advice was really helpful and made so much sense, I no longer feel lost.

Rinaly (DJ, Producer) [Japan]

How soon can I expect to see results?

All the lessons and knowledge provided in The Journey is designed to set you up for success. However, student results will vary and depend on many factors (such as your background and current experience, work ethic, the quality of your music etc).

Some things that are taught in The Journey can be applied right away and give immediate results. Other things might take months or even years to implement and get right.

Building a sustainable music career takes time and effort. Which is also why you get lifetime access. So you can go over the course materials again whenever you need.

What if the idea of selling and marketing makes me nervous/uncomfortable?

First of all I totally get it! I used to feel that way too until I learned that it’s just a matter of perspective.

Selling is often associated with pushy sales tactics and taking advantage of people for personal gain. While in fact sales in itself is neutral. Whether it’s being used for good depends on the person that is doing the selling. And in the course you will learn to sell with integrity!

Don’t forget: us musicians have something beautiful and valuable to offer the world. Your song can become someone’s daily motivation or help them grieve, your mixing and mastering skills can help take an artists’ song to the next level, when you teach music you help someone else work on their passion etc. Our work matters! And you deserve to be compensated fairly for your work.

In other words: you would be doing people a disservice not to promote and sell your products and services. Selling = serving!

I see sales as an invitation. An invitation for someone to enhance a part of their life with your product or service.

In The Journey we will also work on your money mindset and help you see your worth, so you’ll feel more comfortable promoting and selling.

If I – as a recovering people pleaser – could learn to sell, then you can as well! 🙂

How will the course help me make more money?

When building a business nothing is guaranteed. However, The Journey is designed to help you build a fanbase of super fans and teaches you how to monetize your music, become better at selling, determine the right prizes and negotiate better fees and deals.

I have a vacation/trip planned. Will I get behind on the course?

The course comes with lifetime access to all course materials in the online academy (including future updates to the program) as well as the BCFA Student Community on Facebook. This means all course contents will remain available. You take it at your own pace and it’s not a problem if you are away for a few weeks.

All coach calls will be recorded so you can watch them at your convenience too.

Feeling excited about ‘The Journey’?

If you’ve made it this far, this probably means something about what I shared resonates with you.

Maybe it’s because deep down inside, you feel it’s time for a change?

Or maybe you felt a spark thinking about finally taking action on your dreams and what that could mean for your life?

If that’s the case then I would like to ask you: why wait?

We often find ourselves in the ‘waiting zone’. But there’s never a perfect moment.

To build a life and career we’ve never had, we have to get into action, and take steps we’ve never taken before.

Whether that means joining ‘The Journey’ or something else, that is for you to decide.

But if you feel ‘The Journey’ is the right fit for you, then I am more than happy to welcome you in the program!

And every time I get confused Susana has great insights due to her years of experience. Those always help me figure out my next steps.

In summary I could say that she functions as my compass in building my own creative business. Every time I risk getting lost she picks me up and gets me further.

Julia Tehada (Singer/songwriter) (Netherlands)

I first met Susana looking for information regarding how to approach and work with vocalists in my genre (Trance).

Given her legendary status as a Trance vocalist and producer herself, this seemed an obvious fit for me and my immediate, tactical objectives in my musical career.

What I got was a mentor, coach, and (indeed) friend who took a personal interest in my success as a music professional and who became an advocate for me in developing the skills and mindset essential to get the results I was after.

I’ve since had a track picked up by a major genre label and have been able to get doors opened that I likely would never have known how to open on my own.

Further, she’s taught me techniques and given me practical knowledge that has set the stage for more growth and success on my path.

Susana has lived the journey herself. She understands the emotional rollercoaster ride that building a musical career can be and the impact that it can have on the artist. She handles this both professionally and with the care of a big sister.

Brian McCalla (Producer) [USA]

What I appreciate about Susana is that she’s real. She has walked the walk herself.

Not only does she offer a step by step plan to help take the guesswork out of growing your music career, she is also very open about the ups and downs of her own journey, which I have found to be very helpful.

Especially her philosophy of building a music career that fits who you are, without burning yourself out, speaks to me.

The process of building a music career can get overwhelming and make me feel insecure at times, but Susana’s mental support helps me to find balance and keep it sustainable.

Sure, on the internet and YouTube you’ll find a lot of free information, tips and tools about building a music career, but it can be hard to find your way through them.

For me the value of Susana’s program is the combination of the step by step plan offered in The Journey and the mental support offered by Susana in the coaching sessions.

Le One Siverss (DJ, producer) [Netherlands]

The material in The Journey covers a huge range of topics and has so far greatly helped my perspective on my business, bringing clarity to aspects I had not previously considered.

Susana especially provided me with some really useful tips on how to go about planning a marketing strategy for my music business, which I’m now beginning to execute.

Liam Cannon (DJ, Producer, Production Tutor) [United Kingdom]

I’ve always found myself working and starting new tracks instead of having to think about the business side of being a composer.

Writing music comes naturally to me and although I am aware that for a successful music career having the right mindset and a proper strategy is just as important as talent, promoting myself is something I have always struggled with.

Thankfully The Journey has helped me set my priorities straight and gave me insight into the business side of being a musician.

It also gave me a huge self-confidence boost and now I feel ready to take the necessary steps to promote myself and my music in a more efficient way.

If you're an artist looking to take your career to the next level, I highly recommend joining 'The Journey'. The course content is valuable, comprehensive and well structured.

What I appreciated the most was Susana's unique coaching approach, focusing more on strategic and business aspects of the musical journey. As artists, we need to approach our artistry and career as a business - this was my main takeaway and shift throughout the course.

I very much enjoyed our regular coaching calls, as well as being part of an amazing community of like-minded artists.

I finally started posting on social media and stopped overthinking my journey as an artist. Also, I became more confident in my abilities as a result of all the learnings from the course.

I'm really grateful for all the learnings - thank you Susana for your leadership and mentorship!

Cristina Florea (Cris von X) (Vocalist, songwriter) [Hungary]

Thank you, Susana, for taking me with you on The Journey.

I always felt like preparing for a big journey, but never started it. With Susana's music business course, I managed to pack my rucksack and finally start it.

She gave me the compass, the survival pack and the map. I struggled with many doubts, with thoughts like "I will never earn enough money for making a living of it" or "there are so many more talented musicians than me", I struggled with the usage of social media, I had no plan.

And Susana did not just show me my plan, she showed me, how I can make my own plan. How I can find my best way that fits to my goals.

The group coach calls were like light buoys during the Journey. We exchanged our experiences and supported each other. The group melted together and also after the course we are directing lights for each other.

Thank you so much Susana! You are the best guide I could find.
